I'm a songwriter, producer, engineer and multi-instrumentalist based in Sydney, Australia.
When I was a kid, my 2nd grade art teacher used to tell us “big is best”. At the time, these were just words to me; a catch phrase from a grown up. Little did I know that these words would go one to shape my whole approach to music.
With the exception of maybe pizza, music is the first thing I remember getting excited about. There’s so much happening in between the notes we sing and play. All the things you can’t touch or see, but we feel them all the same, and as I write this, I realise that this is why I do this.
After spending the first 20-odd years of my life on stage and in front of the mic, it felt right to make the move behind the glass and learn the next steps of the process. I wrapped up my job at the time, made the move to full time study, and graduated from JMC Academy with a Bachelor of Creative Technology in 2017.
I could talk mics, compressors, synths and plug-ins for days, but no matter how much gear we acquire, it all starts and ends with a good song. The art and human experience we capture in our music is what connects us, and I’ve made it my mission to help present these stories as something that you’re proud to call your own.
